ANYKOS™ — HELP BUILD WHAT COMES NEXT

I’m Building a Business My Sons Can Build On.

I’m Building a Business My Sons Can Build On.

I’m building Anykos™—a family-owned merchandise design and production studio built around a simple idea: most print companies start with the product. Anykos starts with the purpose.

I’ve spent years helping other people build brands, businesses, creative projects, and ideas that needed to become something people could recognize, connect with, and believe in. Now I’m building something of my own—something that brings together creativity, design, branding, merchandise, production, culture, and entrepreneurship.

Something my family can own. Something my sons can one day build on.

Somebody Has to Build the Foundation.

I’ve spent much of my life helping other people build theirs. But there’s a difference between helping someone else build their vision and building something your own family can stand on.

That’s where Anykos begins. Not with a press.

Not with a T-shirt.

With a foundation.

Creativity Was Always My Way Forward.

My name is Duane Washington. I’m a brand strategist, designer, entrepreneur, and father from…*

I grew up in a home where PTSD, addiction, and instability created challenges many families understand. During those years, creativity became my foundation. Art gave me somewhere to focus. Drawing gave me somewhere to put my imagination. Music gave me another language. Design showed me that something meaningful could be created even when life around you felt uncertain.

As I got older, I taught myself graphic design and began printing shirts from home. I traveled throughout the Midwest selling apparel while learning branding, merchandising, production, and what makes people connect with a product.

There were nights when I printed shirts while my son slept only a few feet away. It wasn’t a perfect business plan. It was the opportunity I knew how to create.

So I kept building.

Experience Taught Me What Makes Something Connect.

Over time, that creative work led to opportunities with artists and organizations connected to names including Bob Dylan, Wu-Tang Clan, and G.O.O.D. Music.

Those experiences gave me more than a list of names. They taught me how ideas become identities, how products become signals, and how design creates recognition.

I learned that something people can see, wear, experience, and remember can become part of how they understand a brand.

I’ve spent more than 18 years building experience across branding, design, merchandise, marketing, and digital strategy. And I learned something important along the way:

Helping build other people’s visions does not automatically create security for your own family.

I want to change that.

What Is Anykos?

Merchandise With a Reason to Exist.

Anykos™ helps founders, artists, creators, and small businesses turn what they stand for into recognizable physical products. We bring together brand identity guidance, merchandise design, small-batch apparel production, and product development.

Most print shops start with, “What needs to be printed?”

Anykos starts with a different question:
What should this merchandise communicate?

Because merchandise should do more than display a logo. It should represent something. It should give someone a reason to notice, remember, talk, and belong.

When strategy, identity, design, and production work together, a T-shirt can become more than apparel. It can become a physical expression of what someone stands for.

More Than Merch.

I believe physical products can carry more than a brand name. They can carry an artist’s work, a story, a moment, an idea, a cultural reference, or a connection between an artist and an audience.

That’s the thinking behind More Than Merch™.

For artists, it means bringing original artwork into high-quality physical form. For brands, it means creating products and collaborations with cultural meaning instead of simply borrowing cultural imagery. For collectors, it means creating limited pieces that feel worth owning.

Artists create. Brands collaborate. Collectors carry it forward.

The goal is simple: Every piece should feel worth keeping.

Who We’re Building For.

Anykos is being built for people who believe what they put into the world should mean something.

Artists
Your work deserves more than a logo placement.
Anykos is being built to help artists extend original artwork into apparel, prints, limited editions, and physical pieces while respecting the intent behind the work. The artwork comes first. The merchandise gives it another life.

Brands
Culture should be more than an aesthetic borrowed for a campaign.
For brands that want authentic cultural expression in their products, collaborations, and experiences, Anykos creates a bridge between creative work and physical products. Don’t just reference culture. Build with it.

Collectors
Some things are worth owning because of what they represent.
An artist edition. A limited print. A meaningful garment. A collaboration tied to a moment. A physical piece of culture. Anykos wants to create things people don’t simply consume.

They keep them.

Why I’m Building This Now.

The experience is already here. The creative foundation is already here. The relationships are already here.

The business model is taking shape. What comes next is building the capability to make that experience sustainable.

That means turning years of knowledge into a dependable operating business—one capable of serving more artists, working with more brands, developing meaningful products, producing limited releases, and building lasting customer relationships.

That is the opportunity in front of Anykos.

This Is Bigger Than Printing Shirts.

Anykos isn’t being built simply to produce apparel.

It’s being built around a larger idea:
Identity → Product → Connection → Revenue → Ownership

A brand can become something people recognize.
An artist’s work can become something people carry.
A product can become something people remember.
A collaboration can become something that brings different audiences together.
And a business can become something a family owns.

That’s the larger opportunity.

The Business Has to Work.

Legacy isn’t just about what sounds good twenty years from now. It starts with building something that works today.

Anykos is designed around relationships, quality work, repeat customers, thoughtful production, creative development, and reinvestment.

The objective isn’t to grow as quickly as possible. It’s to build something that can last.

Good work creates relationships. Relationships create opportunity. Opportunity creates revenue. Revenue creates ownership. Ownership creates choices.
And choices are what make the next generation possible.

Why Your Support Matters.

You’re Helping Build the Beginning.

There is a point in every business when the vision becomes real enough for other people to participate.

The first customer. The first order. The first collaborator. The first person who shares the work. The first person who introduces you to someone else.

The first person who says:

“I believe you can build this.”

That is where Anykos is now.

Supporting Anykos means helping create the conditions for the next chapter. You’re helping turn experience into capability, capability into production, production into revenue, and revenue into ownership.

And ownership creates opportunity.

You’re not being asked to rescue a business.

You’re being invited to help build one.

You Don’t Have to Give Money to Help.

Financial support is one way to participate. It isn’t the only way.

You can buy from Anykos, support future artist releases, share the business with someone who needs merchandise or brand support, introduce us to a founder, artist, creator, collector, or brand, collaborate with us, follow the journey, or tell someone about what we’re building.

Every introduction can create an opportunity. Every order creates revenue. Every collaboration creates a relationship. Every supporter helps make the foundation stronger.

The Kiva Campaign.

What Happens Next.

The next chapter is about turning experience into a working business.
Production capability grows. Customer work increases. Artist collaborations become possible.

New products are developed. Limited releases can be created. Relationships become repeat business. Revenue gets reinvested.

And Anykos continues becoming something larger than the person who started it. The vision is a dependable family business, meaningful merchandise, artist-led work, culture-led collaboration, creative ownership, and a business my children can continue.

The Legacy Is the Business.

I don’t know exactly what Anykos will look like twenty years from now. That’s part of the point. My timeline may take it somewhere I never imagined. They may change the model, expand the products, build new services, and create their own ideas.

That’s okay.

I don’t need to decide their future. I want to give them something worth building from. A foundation is not a finished building.

It’s the thing that makes building possible.

Help Build What Comes Next.

Every meaningful business begins before the outcome is obvious.
This is that moment for Anykos.

I’m bringing years of creative experience, brand strategy, design, merchandise, production knowledge, and cultural experience into one business.

What I’m building now is the ability to make that experience sustainable—for my family, for the artists we work with, for the brands we collaborate with, for the people who collect and carry meaningful work forward, and for the generation that comes after me.

If Anykos resonates with you, I would be honored to have you become one of the people who helped build its foundation.
